The newest play of Lalić deals with the phenomena of troubled
human relations in transitioning and post-traumatic Serbian society.
The author tells a story through three typical representatives
of different social structures in the modern Serbian society, of
the horrible and gloomy time and of inability to envisage it completely
objectively, and so to make final moral judgments about it. Drama
also deals in analyzing the phenomenon of guilt and responsibility
as dominant problems representing the sediment of dramatic clashes
in our region during nineties of the last century.
Director of the show is one of the most important and the most
remarkable Belgrade directors, Egon Savin, who will no doubt, find
a successful way to bring Lalic’s text closer to contemporary
public.
