Guitar quartet attraction from Australia, super-group of mixed national genealogies, and of adequate, seemingly distant and therefore unlinkable authors' sources, which are in an extraordinary serious, but fun way picked on the stage as well as on renowned CD editions, group Saffire (Karin Schaupp, Slava Grigoryan, Gareth Koch, Leonard Grigoryan), is an association of expressly independent virtuoso of classic guitar, joined by chance for one concert in 2002, with already formed and highly evaluated individual careers, but since then they are working as enthusiastic chamber musicians with mutual open appetite for contemporary composing production, specially including works dedicated specifically to their ensemble, authors’ break-through events of at least one of their own member (Gareth Koch), but also for certain rock classics – in that sense, their version of Deep Purple, number „Highway Star“ is famous?!

Cherishing their own interpretative natures inside such powerfully organized chamber guitar all-star gathering, Saffire quartet has during the last couple of years from its inception, performed industriously throughout Australian continent, New Zealand, Asia, United States of America and Europe, recording alongside enthusiastically evaluated records with provocative program, in a unique instrumental combination of three classic guitars and specimen like "Good", pedal steel, baritone and flamenco guitar, with some others, for their completely spectacular playing show, in the honor of creative meeting of classic, ethno music, folk and rock.
