World
famous and renowned piano player, winner of great number of awards
on German and global competitions. Born in Munster, started to
take piano lessons at four. When she was nine, she joined the Class
of Renate Kretschmar-Fischer at the Music Academy in Detmolt, where
she passed Artistic Final Examinations "summa cum laude"
and completed her education with "excellent" success.
Heidrun Holdmann is a regular guest at international festivals,
like the Festival in Salzburg, Paris, Barcelona, Brescia / Bergamo,
Strez, Lucerne, Berlin, Festivals of – piano in Ruhr, MDR – Music
Summer, Piano Festival in Athens, as well as of Chamber Music Festival
in Lockenhouse, Kumo, Prussia Cove and Saint Moritz. Her tournaments
have lead her throughout Europe, Japan, USA, South America, as
well as to Southern and South-Eastern Asia. She has most often
cooperated with the Goethe-Institute, where she has, for instance,
for the occasion of Bach’s jubilee in 2000 played the Cycle
"Das Wohltemperierte Klavir II Part" in India and Pakistan.
