The
group was established in 1991, with the following musicians Oliver
Nektarijevic (vocal), Rastko Lupulovic (guitar), Vladislav
Rac (bass), Stevan Dimitrijevic (drums) and Marko Petronijevic
(trumpet). Unusual group name is a riddle of words. Kanda means
probably, and kodža is slang for many. After two years of
joint work and victory at the Palilula Culture Olympics in 1992,
they made a break because Oliver went to America. After his return
in 1994 they have continued their work. In record tape "Guarda
Toma!" they have published concert records from the stage appearances
held in May and October 1995 in Dom omladine and Students Cultural
Center. They have recorded the songs ''Put za Tunu'' and ''Priroda''
(Nature) in studio, where Dejan Vusetić Vuca was
a guest singer, otherwise singer of Darkwood Dub group. The tape
features songs ''Toma Bebic'' (dedicated to this specific
cant-author from Split), ''Visokogradnja'' and ''Sisa'' (Tit) which
has already been published in the compilation ''Mi za mir'' (Vreme
zabave/Center for Anti-War Action Belgrade 1995). Their informal
funk and jazz compositions, following in the footsteps of groups
Pere Ubu and Minutemen, enriched by Oliver’s reggae vocal
interpretations have quickly placed them at the spot of favorite
club groups.
