At the invitation of
the Swiss Choropax Chorus from St. Gallen, the Madrigal Chorus
of the Belgrade Music School took part in the project entitled
held in St. Gallen from June 1 - 4,
2003. They performed together in twu concerts, in a castel
(the hall of knights) in the town of Rapperswil and in Sent
Galen. The idea of both concerts was to learn more about each
other. The program of both concerts included pieces by famous
world authors, but also Serbian and Swiss national songs, which
the two choruses sang together.
Now, the Swiss chorus is paying a return visit to Belgrade,
where it will hold two concerts together with the Belgrade
Music School Madrigal Chorus. Following the suit from Switzerland,
the two choruses will perform pieces by world authors, join
efforts in interpreting Serbian and Swiss songs, and close
both concerts with an African song. |
