The
COMMONICATIONS Project, author Vladan Srdić, Art Director
and Graphic Artist, unites design and activism, and as the final
product offers provocation of specific sensibility. This Project
represents innovative and fresh approach to visual communications
with pronounced educational significance. In search for human in
us as well as for social engagement within the exposed global-individual
problem level, the COMMONICATIONS uncompromisingly reveal some
of the "truths".
The COMMONICATIONS communicate their essence by the method of
eccentric blending of advertising, graphic design, subversiveness,
irony, critical humor, as well as by psycho-associative play with
the visual perception of an individual. The concept is based on
strong multi-layered graphical messages, as ironic antithesis of
manipulative nature and demagogy of the contemporary society.
