Children’s Monday – Igra isTEENe
Performed by: Snežana Knežević, Aleksandra Manasijević, Aleksandra Milojković Novikova, and Fuad Tabučić
Based on the true testimonies of teenagers who have experienced violence, Igra isTEENe aims to raise awareness among children, parents, and teachers that violence should never be regarded as a normal part of growing up. Instead, the performance encourages adults to become more actively involved in the lives of their children and students, to offer protection, support, and encouragement whenever needed.
The play also seeks to educate young people about recognizing different forms of violence, both physical and emotional, and to promote understanding, empathy, and responsible behavior.
The primary target audience is teenagers between the ages of 13 and 19, as reflected in the title of the production. Parents are also indirectly addressed, as the issues explored in the performance are highly relevant to family life and the well-being of young people.
