Emma Krajinović (Belgrade), mezzo-soprano, is an artist whose professional path is distinguished by a rare synthesis of instrumental discipline and vocal expression. Her musical education began in the field of piano performance, completing both undergraduate and master's studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade under the guidance of Professor Vladimir Cvijić. During these formative years, she developed a refined musical intellect, a strong sense of form, and a deep understanding of the musical score—qualities that would later become the foundation of her vocal artistry.

As a pianist, she has performed extensively in Serbia and abroad, earning numerous awards and distinctions. Throughout her artistic development, she has received more than seventy prizes at national and international competitions. Among the most notable are the Laureate Award at the Nikolai Rubinstein International Piano Competition in Paris, Second Prize at the Villa de Capdepera International Competition in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and Third Prize at the International Chopin Competition in Rome. She is also a four-time First Prize winner at Serbian national competitions, confirming the consistency of her artistic excellence.

Her performances have taken place in some of Serbia’s most prestigious venues, including the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Kolarac Endowment, the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, and Matica Srpska.

In 2020, she began a new chapter in her artistic career by studying solo singing at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, graduating in the class of Professor Nikola Kitanovski, tenor. Her vocal interpretation reflects an organic fusion of pianistic analytical precision and vocal freedom: her phrasing combines structural clarity with expressive breath; emotion is grounded in knowledge, and sound is shaped by thoughtful artistic intent.

Today, Emma Krajinović performs as an artist of dual formation—a pianist and mezzo-soprano, a musician who understands the score from within and a voice that brings it to life with awareness, sensitivity, and artistic integrity.
