A Rich Programme of Concerts and Theatre Performances
The Belgrade Summer Festival (BELEF) will officially open on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. at the Sava Center, with a performance of the renowned Terazije Theatre musical Gypsies Are Flying into Heaven. Public interest in the festival opening has been exceptionally high, and additional tickets have been released after the originally planned venue capacity was expanded.
This year's BELEF will take place from June 20 to September 22, 2026, presenting more than 40 diverse events, including concerts, children's programmes, and theatre performances. Events will be held at several venues throughout Belgrade.

Tuesday, June 23 – 8:30 p.m.
Princess Ljubica's Residence (entrance from Kralja Petra Street, Vault Hall)
The vocal ensemble Helenia will present the concert "On the Wings of Serbian Cultural Heritage." Admission is free.
The programme includes traditional Serbian folk songs, selections from Mokranjac's Garlands (Rukoveti), Što se bore misli moje in a choral arrangement, and Oj, Srbijo, mila mati with instrumental accompaniment.
Wednesday, June 24 – 6:00 p.m.
Faculty of Music at BELEF
As part of the Faculty of Music at BELEF concert series, pianist Aleksandar Jovčić will perform at Princess Ljubica's Residence. Admission is free.
The programme features works by J. S. Bach, Maurice Ravel, and Frédéric Chopin. Jovčić is the recipient of numerous national and international awards and regularly performs both as a soloist and chamber musician.
Thursday, June 25 – 8:30 p.m.
Princess Ljubica's Residence
The acclaimed Australian ensemble Liaison—clarinetist David Griffiths, pianist Timothy Young, and cellist Svetlana Bogosavljević—will perform.
The Australian magazine Limelight has described Liaison as "a national treasure," and today the ensemble is recognized as one of Australia's leading chamber music groups.

Friday, June 26 – 8:30 p.m.

Mezzo-soprano Ema Krajinović will give a recital accompanied by pianist Ivana Stoković, with guest sopranos Milca Žižić and Teodora Marić.
The programme includes songs by Francesco Paolo Tosti and operatic arias by Rossini, Donizetti, Verdi, and Gounod.
Sunday, June 28 – 8:30 p.m.
Princess Ljubica's Residence
Performance of the comedy "The Bard, the Robbery and the Psychiatrist", starring Vladan Savić, Kristina Savić, and Janko Cekić.
A famous married acting couple from the National Theatre seeks marriage counselling in an attempt to save their relationship, but each arrives with hidden motives. Their efforts to win the psychiatrist to their side lead to a series of humorous and unexpected situations. The play also explores how far people are willing to go when driven by greed and vanity.

Children's Monday Programme
Princess Ljubica's Residence
The programme begins with the teenage theatre production "isTEEN Games with Parents", written by Ružica Vasić and Fuad Tabučić. Admission is free.

Based on true testimonies of teenagers who have experienced bullying, the play encourages young people, parents, and teachers to recognize peer violence and actively participate in its prevention. It helps audiences identify both physical and emotional abuse and is recommended for young people aged 13–19, while also addressing issues highly relevant to parents.
Tuesday, June 30 – 8:00 p.m.
The Romanian ensemble Incanto Quartetto will perform. Admission is free.
One of Timișoara's leading chamber ensembles, Incanto Quartetto performs music ranging from the Baroque period to contemporary works, including waltzes, polkas, marches, tangos, milongas, musicals, and film music. This stylistic diversity attracts audiences of all generations and makes each concert a unique musical experience.
Wednesday, July 1 – 6:00 p.m.
Faculty of Music at BELEF
Princess Ljubica's Residence
Violinist Veronika Mona Bogić will perform works by Bach, Brahms, Paganini, and Ravel. Admission is free.
She is currently pursuing doctoral studies in violin performance and has attended numerous masterclasses with distinguished artists and teachers. Since 2021 she has been a scholarship recipient of the Dobar Glas Foundation. She has performed with Nemanja Radulović's Double Sense Ensemble, the Zagreb Chamber Orchestra, and appeared as a soloist at the Ljubljana Festival in 2022.

The concert "Harp Duo" will feature Aleksandra Petrović and Olga Marković. Admission is free.
The programme includes works by Paul Hindemith, Henriette Renié, Miloš Raičković, Carlos Salzedo, Nicolas Flagello, Domenico Scarlatti, Ingeborg Bugarinović, and Carlos Salzedo.

Children's Monday
Princess Ljubica's Residence
The children's play "Little Ones Can Do Great Things Too" by Maja Kolundžija Zoroe will be performed. Admission is free.

Intended for children aged seven and above, the play was developed in cooperation with a child psychologist as an anti-bullying project. Through humorous and engaging situations, it highlights unhealthy patterns of behaviour while offering positive ways to resolve conflicts among children.

Belgrade Philharmonic Hall
The School for Musical Talents from Ćuprija will perform. Admission is free.
The programme includes works by Zoltán Kodály, Antonio Vivaldi, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Dejan Despić, David Popper, Pablo de Sarasate, and Béla Bartók.
Tuesday, July 14 – 8:30 p.m.
Princess Ljubica's Residence
The monodrama "Pupin – The Story of a Great Man", performed by Fuad Tabučić, will be presented. Admission is free.
Written and adapted for the stage by Ružica Vasić, the play is based on Mihajlo Pupin's autobiography From Immigrant to Inventor.
The protagonist is the father of a fourteen-year-old girl who, confronted with his daughter's desire for a new mobile phone, begins telling her the story of Mihajlo Pupin. Through scenes from the great scientist's life, which he brings vividly to life on stage, he connects Pupin's era with contemporary society, introducing his daughter to Pupin's life, achievements, and enduring values.
