Mass production of meaning,
this new branch of industry, seems to approve any subjective
analysis of any object or phenomenon. Often incomprehensible
theoretical analyses pertain to “explain” quite
comprehensible things and phenomena, until they make them even
less fathomable.
Who is the consumer of such analyses? Are these kinds of
texts intended for anyone and for what kind of audience are
they possibly aimed at? Has anyone ever really used it as a
tool for reading work?
