Todosijevic Dragoljub Rasa

Dragoljub Rasa Todosijevic has been one of the most important personages on the Serbian and ex-Yugoslav art scene in the past 30 years and one of the most established local artists abroad. The most important cycles and works from Todosijevic’s opus include actions, performances, happenings, video, objects, texts and stories. Dragoljub Todosijevic graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1969. In the 1970s he was one of the initiators of New Art in Belgrade. Marinela (Belgrade 1971), Decisions as Art (Edinburgh – Belgrade, 1973), Was ist Kunst? (Paris, Vienna, Lublin… 1977-78), Vive la France – Vive la Tyrannie (Amsterdam, 1979), are some of his most important actions and performances. He has had around 40 solo exhibitions and has participated in 200 groups exhibitions in the country and abroad.
