The work "Shadows of Red People" has been created from a series of works using the contours of human shadows, which the author has realized and presented at several individual and group exhibitions from 2001 to the present day. Placards with printed images of painted "shadows" have been posted in many places around Belgrade.

The intercontinental war is almost over.

Few people have survived, young, inexperienced and very experienced at the same time, fragmented. Their existence is unburdened with the past and direction. The only thing that makes them human, similar to those of the forgotten past, are their red shadows.

Mirjana Stojadinovic is attending master's studies at the Faculty of Visual Arts in Belgrade.

Individual exhibitions: Belgrade (Remont Gallery, "Punkt", 2003; Gallery of the Dom Omladine (Youth Club) in Belgrade, "Walkers/Whisperers=Talk With the Shadow=Dispersion of the Shadow", 2002; Gallery of the Students' Cultural Center) and Sombor (Gallery of the Cultural Center "Laza Kostic"). She has also taken part in group exhibitions in Belgrade, Leipzig/Germany, Krusevac, Sremska Mitrovica and Vrsac.
