Grupa za ekstremni film KINOKAZE je osnovana 2002 godine sa ciljem promovisanja granicnih vrednosti u domenu vizuelnih komunikacija. Osnovnu delatnost grupe cine akcije, situacije, provokacije i urbane intervencije. Tokom 2002. grupa je organizovala Open Screen Belgrade, projekcije videa i filmova sa svih strana sveta, bez ikakve selekcije i cenzure. Ovo je izbor ekskluzivnih snimaka iz te serije.

"Last year we put out an announcement that we would screen works once a month without any selection or censorship in accordance with the principle ‘whatever has been received will be screened’ in the AFC of the cultural hall “Studentski Grad.” Video works started coming in from all over the world and the whole thing assumed unexpected dimensions.

A special feature of these events has been the appearance of a local maniac who would bring along suitcases full of unedited material from the Automobile Fair, Sun Eclipse etc and who would screen his 30minute recordings to the people. Apart from all sorts of “junk”, we also received serious selections from Canadian experimenters, new British video and a bunch of interesting stuff from New York, Berlin, Lisbon, London… On this occasion we have made a selection of works. The most interesting things from the archive will be screened."
