MUSIC WITHOUT BOUNDARIES, Opera and musical theatre organization MOTO

MOTO – Opera and musical theatre organization has been established with the aim to promote classical music, opera and theatre and make them accessible to all people as well as to make art an integral part of a modern man in Serbia. The mission of MOTO is to develop tolerance, encourage the development of culture of life and suppress stigma and discrimination, all that through the work of renowned artists, promotion of young people as well as through the inclusion of people with disabilities and marginalized groups into the cultural and social life. Ever since the organization was established, MOTO has been working on the projects of inclusion of blind and visually impaired artists, educational concerts  for the children who live in enclaves in Kosovo and Metohija, education of Roma children on theatre, plays for children living with HIV, furthermore, plays for children hospitalized in the Institute for Children Neurology Doctor Subotić and with women and children who have been the victims of domestic violence. MOTO has also performed a number of classical music concerts that had not been performed in Belgrade before. With this concert the organization wants to promote their colleagues and show with their joint performance that art transcends all boundaries.

Mirjana Marjanović, a soprano, was born in Šabac in 1986. She is an ethno and folk music singer. She won several awards at various competitions. Since February 2016 she has been participating in the project The Light of the music by the MOTO organization, holding concerts at various venues in Belgrade.

Uroš  Martinović was born in Belgrade in 1990. He won awards several times at the Guitar Festivals in Niš, Subotica and Leskovac. Martinović attended masterclasses held by famous guitarists such as Renato Samuelli, Mark Ferry, Roberto Fabbri, Thomas Offermann, Denis Azabagić, Jose Luis Martinez and others. He currently works as a classical guitar teacher at the Musical School Petar Konjović.

Aleksandar Savić was born in 1983 in Belgrade. He is currently employed as an assisstant manager of the Folk Orchestra AKUD Ivo Lola Ribar, as well as a regular associate of the RTS Folk Orchestra. He has participated in numerous concerts, both in Serbia and abroad.
